Member of the LDS Primary General Board for over 32 years and helped establish the “Guide Patrol” program for boys which was later integrated into the Boy Scouts of America Cub Scout program

Awarded Boy Scouts of America “Silver Fawn” Award (Silver Beaver for Women)

National Retired Educator of the Year (1977)

Inducted into the Midvale City Hall of Fame

Helped establish the Midvale City Museum and authored the chapter on education in Midvale City’s history book
